Review of Commonwealth legal services procurement
On 8 January 2010, the Attorney‑General announced that he had received the report of an independent review of Commonwealth legal services procurement. A copy of the media release is below.

The Attorney‑General had appointed Mr Anthony Blunn AO and Ms Sibylle Krieger to conduct the review in March 2009 following a large increase in legal services expenditure reported by Commonwealth agencies for 2007-08. The report of the review can be downloaded below.
The Government is considering its response to the report’s 23 recommendations.
