Maps

The map of Australia displays mainstream and Indigenous legal services funded by the Department’s Social Inclusion Division. The four types of legal service plotted on the map are Legal Aid Offices, Community Legal Services, Indigenous Legal Aid Services and Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Legal Services.

Remoteness maps of Australia and each State and Territory display three levels of remoteness – metropolitan, regional and remote. These maps are designed to assist contracted providers in their data collection and reporting obligations to the Department.  The maps plot major roads, population centres and Indigenous communities.
