Firearms Links and Downloads

The Attorney-General’s Department recently conducted public consultation on a number of proposed amendments to the Firearms Importation Scheme. A copy of the consultation paper can be found on the Consultations, Reforms and Reviews page. The public consultation period closed on 1 March 2011, with more than 50 submissions received. These submissions are currently being reviewed and will inform the development of amendments to the Customs (Prohibited Import) Regulations 1956.
