Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia (IAMA)
IAMA is a national professional organisation for ADR practitioners experienced in the resolution of national and international commercial disputes.  Founded in 1975 as the Institute of Arbitrators Australia it now embraces all forms of ADR.  IAMA provides for accreditation as well as professional development and training programs and educational and networking activities for members in addition to national publications including The Arbitrator & Mediator.

Law Council of Australia
The Law Council of Australia is the peak national body representing the legal profession.  Its role is to represent the legal profession at the national level, to speak on behalf of its constituent bodies on national issues affecting the legal profession; and to promote the administration of justice, access to justice and general improvement of the law.  It has a standing committee on alternative dispute resolution and many of its constituent bodies provide arbitration and dispute resolution services and practitioners with international experience.

LEADR - Association of Dispute Resolvers
LEADR is a member association which operates across Australia and New Zealand.  The organisation is an advocate of standardised accreditation and has a competency based accreditation scheme and ethical standards that apply to members.  It works to promote mediation opportunities, and provides administration, information and access to continuation training for members.  Originally formed as an organisation for lawyers engaged in ADR, it now attracts a much wider membership drawn from a variety of professions.
